After the time of fire mankind has reverted to tribal groups. This series of books feature characters that slowly develop different regions and peoples into a cohesive group while technology progresses in step. A Judeo/Christian theme prevails throughout the series, but does not become to too overt or preachy and in fact shows quite well the potential for degredation over time of any knowledge or belief system.
